AMV Contest rules »
What is an AMV? Anime Music Video (AMV) stands for a fan-made music video consisting of clips from one or more animation shows set to an audio track.

The contest is open to all, except for the contest coordinators and judges.
The submission deadline is August 21 at 23:59 (local time GMT-5). A pre-visualization will be made and if changes are needed, you will have one week to do them.
It is not necessary to be at the convention to win. But, if possible, we ask that the prize is claimed on site by you or someone you know that you designate who will be attending. If applicable, your prize will be sent to you by mail.

Each AMV must be sent to programming@animaracon.com with the following information :
Technical Regulations All AMV submitted must meet the following criteria :
Categories Note: Each category requires at least 4 AMVs to be considered valid and allow classification. This does not exclude the fact that the clips sent could be shown at the convention if the quality level is sufficient. Also, it is possible that one or more sent AMVs are changed of category if the coordinator considers the transfer relevant.
Each category has its own ranking.

Prizes (All will be voted by the public with the exception of the Coordinators Choice)
If a video is eligible to more than one award (eg : best in class and best AMV), it will gain only the higher of the two.

Animara Con reserves the right to modify, extend or end this Contest without notice. This decision is left to the discretion of the organization and does not incur its liability.
